Notification of the Ministry of Interior
Re: Designation of the List of Countries and Territories whose Holders of Passports or Documents in Lieu of Passports Entering the Kingdom Temporarily for Tourism Are Exempted from Visa Requirements and Permitted to Stay in the Kingdom for a Period Not Exceeding Thirty Days
Whereas it is expedient to revise the list of countries and territories whose holders of passports or documents in lieu of passports entering the Kingdom temporarily for tourism are exempted from visa requirements and permitted to stay in the Kingdom for a period not exceeding thirty days, in order that it be appropriate and consistent with the current situation, taking into account national security, the economy, as well as the promotion of tourism of the country;
By virtue of clause 13 of the Ministerial Regulation Prescribing Rules, Procedures and Conditions for Visa Examination, Exemption and Change of Type of Visa, B.E. 2545 (2002), the Prime Minister and the Minister of Interior, with the approval of the Council of Ministers on 14 July B.E. 2569 (2026), hereby issue the Notification as follows:
Clause 1. The following shall be repealed:
(1) Notification of the Ministry of Interior on Designation of the List of Countries whose Holders of Passports or Documents in Lieu of Passports Entering the Kingdom Temporarily for Tourism Are Exempted from Visa Requirements and Permitted to Stay in the Kingdom for a Period Not Exceeding Thirty Days, dated 4 March B.E. 2562 (2019);
(2) Notification of the Ministry of Interior on Designation of the List of Countries whose Holders of Passports or Documents in Lieu of Passports Entering the Kingdom Temporarily for Tourism Are Exempted from Visa Requirements and Permitted to Stay in the Kingdom for a Period Not Exceeding Thirty Days (No. 2), dated 21 June B.E. 2565 (2022).
Clause 2. The list of countries and territories whose holders of passports or documents in lieu of passports entering the Kingdom temporarily for tourism are exempted from visa requirements and permitted to stay in the Kingdom for a period not exceeding thirty days shall be designated as follows:

(2) Republic of Austria
(3) Kingdom of Bahrain
(4) Kingdom of Belgium
(5) Republic of Bulgaria
(6) Kingdom of Bhutan
(7) Brunei Darussalam
(8) Canada
(9) Republic of Croatia
(10) Republic of Cyprus
(11) Czech Republic
(12) Kingdom of Denmark
(13) Republic of Estonia
(14) Republic of Fiji
(15) Republic of Finland
(16) Republic of France

(18) Federal Republic of Germany

Clause 3. Holders of passports or documents in lieu of passports who are exempted from visa requirements for tourism and who are permitted to enter the Kingdom temporarily under clause 2, in the case of entry through a designated channel at an immigration checkpoint or at a land-border checkpoint, may enter the Kingdom not more than twice per calendar year, except that a person holding the nationality of Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, the Republic of Indonesia or the Republic of Singapore, or a person holding the nationality of another country designated by the Minister, may enter the Kingdom more than twice per calendar year.
Clause 4. This Notification shall come into force after the lapse of fifteen days from the date of its publication in the Government Gazette.
